John Dortmans, founder and owner of Dortmans Bros in 1980., works with each of our customers to meet their needs and expectation for reliable products. Knowing the challenges of farming himself, having grown up on a farm. He, along with his entire Dortmans Bros. organization, will strive to help you meet those challenges-you can rely on it.

Rita Dortmans, owner and office manager for Dortmans, is a vital member of the team. She oversees the functions of the office to ensure all our customers are looked after from start to finish.

Administration

Tim Willemse, has been working for Dortmans Bros. since 2001, as the Dairy Coordinator. He looks after all aspects of ordering and shipping of dairy parts, chemicals and other supplies of things. Tim graduated from the University of Guelph, with a Diploma in Agriculture and from Westervelt College with a Diploma in Internet Design. Tim has a vast knowledge of AutoCad and does a lot of the barn drawings with the salesman to help put things in perspective and to help figure out various types of barn layouts.

Julie Dortmans, assists Rita in the office and has been with us since 1998. She looks after our Accounts Payable and various other bookkeeping aspects of the company. Julie is also our Health and Safety coordinator.

Beth Houben joined the company in March 2006, as Administrative Assistant to John Dortmans and to provide office support to the Sales Team. She brings with her an extensive background in Marketing and Promotions.

Service

Brian Verheyen, is our hog installation man, Brian has been with Dortmans Bros Since 2004, he is a former farmer with 25 years of experience in the hog industry, so he has a vast knowledge of Hog Equipment and he is very skilled in welding and fabrication. Brian is also part of the Health and Safety Commitee.

Tony Dortmans, our Milking Machine Service Technician, has been with our organization since 1988. He is a graduate of R.C.C. College of Electronics. In addition to achieving Certified Technician status from the Milking Machine Manufacturers Council, Tony also has successfully completed the Training Program for Installing and Servicing Basic Milking Systems from the Milking Equipment Manufactures Institute. Tony heads up our Dairy Service Technician Team and is available for on farm System Analysis.

Steve Kustermans, is our Milking System Technician. Steve has been with the company since the year 2000 He works in conjunction with Tony Dortmans in our dairy lines of equipment. His responsibilities will include scheduling and servicing our Scheduled Maintenance Team, and helping with all new installations of the dairy equipment. Steve graduated from Ridgetown College and received his diploma in Agriculture. Steve has also received a Safety award from Ridgetown College and is now part of the Health and Safety Commitee. Steve has a vast experience working with numerous lines of milking equipment as well as helping with the electronics.

Joe Minten, is our Routeman. Joe has been with Dortmans Bros since the year 2000, Joe comes to us with an extensive background in the dairy industry. Joe has worked with the DeLaval line for the past 2-1/2 years, and has dairy experience working on his family's 65 dairy cow operation.

John Toonen, has been with Dortmans Bros. since 1988 and is our specialist for Patz, Bou-matic, and Cablevey equipment. He has successfully completed in-factory service and maintenance courses for all equipment. He also is our senior welder experienced in both regular and stainless steel welds. John also works with our dairy installation team on all dairy installations. John is also part of the Health and Safety Commitee.

Jason Devet, has been with Dortmans Bros. since 2001 and is our specialist for Dairy, and Hog equipment. He has received his diploma in Agriculture from Ridgetown college.

Adrian Dortmans, with Dortmans since the company originated in 1980, is our Installation Manager. He coordinates and oversees the installation of all our equipment installations, and operates our boom truck. Adrian has completed Installation and Service Courses of all our product lines. With over 20 year's experience in the farm equipment business, Adrian is well versed and will ensure your installation is installed properly.

Jack Van Asseldonk is responsible for operating our delivery truck. He looks after maintaining our warehouses, product pickup and delivery of all major installations.

Jeremy Schram, (with Dortmans Bros. since 1996 and 1997 respectively) is part of the service and installation team as well. Jeremy has completed courses on the product lines that we provide to our customers.

Martien Pieterman is our Free Stall and Mat Installer, Martien has been with the company since 2006, Martien came from holland and has a vast knowledge of Dairy and Hog equipment.

Sales

Ben Willemse is our dairy consultant, Ben started with us in 2001 and has years of experience in the farming industry. Ben was raised on a dairy farm in the Parkhill area, where his family operates a 65 cow freestall operation. Ben graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Animal Science. He worked as a dairy feed consultant for 5 years. Ben comes to us with a vast knowledge in the dairy industry and looks forward to assisting you with your dairy investment needs. Ben has a vast knowledge in AutoCad and can help you design the type of barn you would like, custom made the way you want it to be, and Ben can offer advice on any kind of idea you have for making a barn the way you want it to be.

Willy Dortmans is our Hog and Poultry Sales Agent, he has been with us since 1992. Having served several years on installations, he understands the need for complete and accurate equipment. Willy has a lot of experience in design the right barn for you, he can present you with various types of barn layouts and can help you create the type of barn you would like and have it work for you.

John Minten is our Hog and Poultry salesman, John has been with the company since 1994 and has years of experience in the farming industry. Owning a farm himself, he is aware of the concerns you may have, and will work diligently to help you achieve your goals for complete and accurate ordering. John has a lot of experience in designing the right barn for you, he can present you with various types of barn layouts and can help you create the type of barn you would like and have it work for you. John also is our Calhoun Superstructure Salesman.

Marc Boersma is our dairy salesman, Marc has been with the company since 2004, his main sales are in Delaval Sales, Marc Immigrated from Holland with dairy experience in Holland and in Canada. Marc has a University degree STOAS in Dronten in Animal Husbandry and Processing.
